I have just spent the past 4 hours doing a major clean on all the animals. I have hay in my hair & megazorb in my turn-ups but i feel very content now :P
I have put Sylvie Spud & co back in the shed and brought in Margalo Emily & Sue for a bit of pampering in the 6ft C&C cage. Its nice having a good heated shed because I can swap the piggies round from inside to the shed without worrying about the temperature change affecting them.
The farm where I get my hay has the most amazing hay in at the moment, its really soft & green....oh & cheap too ;)
The Swamp piggies have gone a bit feral again but the next time I have a swap around it will be their turn in the house to get them a bit tamer again.

I;ll have to take a picture of the indoor set up at the moment - it very Cath Kidson! dolly pegs holding up some floral fabric behind the grids & a little wooden house! very cute. Its lovely having my original girls in the house again. Its like spending time with old friends. I know I see them every day in the shed but its not the same.

I am just waiting for my order from Gorgeous Guineas & they will all get a pampering day. I've ordered some of the Melts, particularly for Wiggy, Emily who has longish hair but desperately needs a hair cut because she has been barbered & has ended up with a long tail! also my oldest girl Sue has always suffered with flaky skin. I've ordered
Conditioning shampoo - Lavender, tea tree & lemongrass.
Cocoa marvelous melt
Soothing lotion
Cocoa lotion
Loads of the trial size products
and a car sticker ;D

So all I have to do now is tidy up the house again. Cook dinner. Worm the cats. Bath me & my daughter & go to bed ::)

Sounds just like my day ! ;D

Isn't it satisfying when everyone is in a lovely clean home, tucking into some fresh hay and veggies. I even cobwebbed the shed today - how sad is that!

I always end up turning my jeans up when I do the outside piggies as I have to trudge across the grass to top up my hay bin and if I leave them down they get wet. Needless to say I always end up with shredded paper and hay in the turn ups and the best bit is that I always forget to turn my trousers back down before going indoors, only to remember as soon as I get in - what happens, get hay and paper all over the house! ;D ;D

I'm trying to persuade my mum to let me keep my pigs in the house but she says I can't as it's too hot in there. :'(

Ive gotten my mum to let the pigs live in my bedroom ;D but now the pigs have gotten be sleeping on the couch 2funny. I'm trying still to get mum to let them live in the lounge room, up high so the dog cant get them but she says no :( lol

Ive just cleaned the bunnies and pigs too and changed the setup of cindy's cage... it takes a while and you sweat pff 10kg but its all worth it in the end :smitten:

Gosh Hils i was exhausted after reading your post :)
Know what you mean about having them closer i love it when i we have Duke up stairs for awhile too, it's like their part of the family even more so :smitten:

LOL hope you didn't answer the front door to anyone 2funny 2funny

All my friends are used to me with hay in my hair & attatched to my clothes - but no - I didn't answer the door. I will be today because I'm waiting for my delivery from Gorgeous Guineas 8) I have to go & pick up madam from nursery in a minute & if I miss the delivery I will have to drive to the depot to pick it up. Its like waiting for xmas when you are a kid!
The old girls who are in the house now are so slow & calm compared to the other nutters I had in before. I have had to poke Sue a couple of times to make sure she was still alive because she was in such a deep sleep! I did feel guilty for disturbing her each time >:D I had missed a tiny dread lock on Emilys inner thigh (titter) I noticed she was bunny hopping a bit. Now the culprit has been located & removed she's walking fine. I did feel guilty because I check for knots every other day but obviously missed this one. She is a bit of a nibbler and checking her is always a challenge - but I do love a pig with character even if it means getting savaged!

Awwwww your piggies are real characters as you said. I agree it makes life interesting having a piggie with attitude :-* :-*
LOL glad you've got lovely friends that don't care what you look like, as it should be, it's what's inside that really counts :) :) :)
