Can anyone help with the “piggie train” it’s a Facebook group that helps get piggies from rescues to where they need to be? Please think of joining the group if you have spare time and transport too, it’s such a wonderful way of helping out

I will keep a look out and pop up any posts. I don’t use fb but have an account to follow/support TEAS and Maria’s animal shelter and some of the other GP rescues.

I did the same, but I have a lot of problems with it, then discovered I can read the posts without logging in! I wish everything wasn't on facebook these days.

I am also part of the Piggy Train on Facebook so i will look out for posts and can share them here. I have been part of at least 4 piggy trains and it is i lovely to meet the other people helping and often the people at the rescue. Unfortunately posts get missed here on the forum as they get pushed down the list very quickly.

I guess Facebook is a good place for rescues to reach out through as it reaches lots of people.

yes that’s the trouble, gone in hours. You’ve done a remarkable job delivering all these piggies. I have yet to be of any help apart from delivering the little Cornish family from Maria’s animal shelter to Wiekbe

That's hardly nothing, you were amazing spending all that time catching them, and then that huge drive across the country...As a result of which they were all able to stay together, and space was freed up for other needy piggies 👏👏

Does anyone know if there is a cat version of the piggy train? I can't drive long distance any more and need to get a pair of cats who need rehoming, from Shropshire to Devon.I'm not in the "cat world" so have no helpful contacts!
