The two lethal gene boys are ready to make the journey to me in Northampton. I can travel as far as Oxford to collect them, but a piggy train is needed to get them from South Wales to the Oxfordshire area.

If anyone can help get these boys to their forever home with me, then please either PM me or Suzygpr. Even just to take them a small part of the journey would be very helpful.

We are hoping the boys can be transported this week if at all possible.

As soon as they are settled in here, I will be posting updates re their progress.

I'm at my parent's house in West Wales until tomorrow night and live about 40miles from Oxford will be going back tomorrow though! But I could do most of the journey, if anyone could help get them from Suzy's to near ish my parents, say Brecon?

I've had a look on AA Autoroute, the route it suggests is A449, M50, M5, M42, M6 then M1. I could help with M40 from the M42 junction. I travel to work in Leamington, so I could travel up the M40 to collect them from the M42 junction and bring them home.
Or is someone can pick up the A46 that brings you to Warwick, I could collect from there too.
Debbie knows where I live, and I'm guessing I'm nearer than Oxford for you, lady? I'm working Tuesday and Friday, so I could collect around 5 o clock ish.
Another option to the Midlands from South Wales via Cirencenster and follow the Fosse Way, the A429, I could help with an hour of that, say from Morton in the Marsh or Burford way.
And one other option is the A46 and I could travel to Evesham/Tewsbury way. I'm not sure if this may tie in with someone else's journey, that's what I can do! X

Thanks Catherine. I just text you to see if you could help! You must've posted as I was texting!

Moreton in Marsh in about 3 miles from my house/Evesham around 10miles so if you (hot fox) went on either the A429 or A46 is would work out very well for me. Would you be able to collect them today though? Also need help getting them from Suzy's in South Wales to West Wales if anyone can help?
Furryfriends and Suzy would it be ok if it was today?

Today is fine with me - what route are you taking from W Wales?

suzy x

Yes I can come collect them today at about 5 o clock. I'll have my daughters with me. Alternatively I could do tuesday evening or wednesday during the day. Hubbie is v happy for them to stay with us too! Hoorah!

Just waiting for Branston & Pickles to get back to me so we can arrange a meet up. Fingers crossed. x

I have to pop out for a few hours now but if anyone can get the piggies near to West Wales let me know asap and i'll check as soon as i get back x

Can anyone help with getting the boys to mid or west Wales from the rescue (on A465) in Glynneath this evening to meet up with Branston & Pickles? The fewer change overs for them the better as they are blind and deaf so new people and smells will be stressful.

If this can't be done today a new plea for help will have to go out to try another run.

No one could help then :(
If a new piggy train is organised If needed I can still help out but won't be able to do as far because I will be back at my house in Gloucestershire. xx

No luck today - hopefully others can help later in the week or weekend. Thank you so much for the offer though - very much appreciated.

So far we have transport for the Oxford area to Northampton, if you can help with the South Wales to Oxford stage please get in touch and hopefully we'll get these boys to their forever home and dental treatment very soon.

If you can get them on the M4 and near me I can do the last little bit from Newbury to Oxford. Quite happy to have a day trip out. I'm on holiday next week.

had a rethink and could probably, depening on day pick them up close to Severn Bridge area and take them to Oxford

pm me for my mobile number if it helps as my time online this week will be severely limited.

Hi just caught up with this thread this morning, I am working Saturday, so if we do the weekend and the Oxford to Northampton part of the journey is required, I can do Sunday with no issues.
x

Ooohh exciting! Looks like it's going to work YAY! Sunday it is then.

So it's LynnePrice for rescue to Severn bridge.
DebH for Severn bridge to Oxford
and Hotfox for Oxford to Northhampton

And Katiepops has offered help too.

Have I got it right? So it's exchanging numbers and sorting when and where.

Suzy does a happy dance.
