Hello all, I have recently lost my beloved guinea pig Reese's, and now I am concerned about my other piggy Hershey. I noticed that she was not eating as much hay as usual, and her water intake was a bit less than usual. I weighed her two days ago and she was 1.9 pounds, yesterday she was 1.8 pounds, and today she is 2.0 pounds. She is an older piggy, and this concerns me. She has always had an issue with barbering, and so she has hair loss currently. However, I noticed that I could feel her ribs too easily, and I feel as though she is too small in weight. She is still eating, and drinking, and going to the bathroom and wanting treats. I noticed she was gassy before I left and her tummy seemed enlarged, but now she kind of looks like a deflated balloon. I will be taking her to the vet, but I was wondering what the issue could be. My other three pigs are fine, it is just Hershey who is having problems. My other pigs are around 3 pounds or close to that and they are significantly younger than her. I am not sure how old Hershey is, I have had her for two years and she was a rescue. I will assume that she is around 4 or slightly older. Thanks in advance!.

I would get her checked out at the vets Is she living with other piggies?
