I'm sure this is absolutely fine but rather than worrying about it I thought I would ask your opinions.
I have just done the boys weekly weight check. They are now 8 months old and have put weight on consistently since I got them. This is the first time they have ever lost weight. Toby has lost 11g and Barney has lost 14g. However, as they have been putting on approx. 20g per week up until now I feel as though it means Toby had lost 31g and Barney has lost 34g.
They are still healthy weights (Toby = 1147g and Barney = 1220g), they are eating, pooing and peeing as normal. They only thing that has changed is that since yesterday they have been getting occasional free-range floor time. This has just been 15minutes at a time but has involved them sprinting around the coffee table. Would this be enough to account for the loss or could it be that they have reached full size already? I have weighed them at the same time of day that I normally do.
Do I just keep weighing them weekly?
