I just wondered wether I should be worried or not. We feed the boys twice a day morning at around 7am and night at about 8.30pm. But they don’t seem to get excited, popcorn or squeak when they hear the fridge opening. In fact sometimes they don’t even come out of the hidey to see what’s on offer. I’m wondering why? They have been outside over the summer and were brought inside over a month ago, so maybe there not used to the sounds yet? Any other ideas?

I think you are probably right. It did take about a month for my very young guinea pig to starting knowing sounds like the fridge door and crinkling packets
Aslong as they are wating their veg, i wouldnt worry
