piglet has a bite

and it looks like a bad one. it's not infected, but i want to make sure that it doesnt get infected. i need advice on how to treat it, and what to not do. i have been cleaning it with cooled boiled salt water, and putting a bit of neosporin on it (antibiotic ointment). any advice is welcome, i just want baby to get better.
