I'm really nervous. i had piglet out to put some cream on his feet, and as iwas standing up he leapt out of my arms, did a little flip, and landed on his side. fortunately he landed on a towel that was kinda bunched up so it softened his landing. i feel absolutely terrible :(. he is behaving completely normal; walking fine, popcorning, even running with no noticable limp. did we get lucky? or should i be looking out for anything? i really want him to be ok. i feel like a terrible pig mum. :0

That happened to me and McMac once. I was putting him back from the run in the summer, and he can be so wriggly sometimes, so as I was walking through the house and he kept trying to wriggle stuff but I tried to keep him close to my chest and secure. But then he got free and just launched himself off of my arm and landed on the floor :( I felt so horrible. I cried and sat with him thinking he was really hurt and I wanted to make sure he was ok. He ended up being fine but I cried so much thinking it was my fault and everything but at least he was ok. I think Piglet will be ok since he had a shorter cushioned landing. I'm nearly 5ft10 and McMac survived his fall to the floor

It's one of the hazards of being a piggy slave. Sometimes, they just jump out of your grasp. Good that nothing has happened. Keep an eye on him for a day or two.

they can be tough little creatures if it was me i would keep him from being excitable for a day or 2 if you can check his legs rocky dived off our sofa 3 days ago and got away with it. i think its just how they land.
