I would love to attach a video of Rosie in the act but she always seems to do this when I'm not nearby so descriptions will have to do.

She always does this several times each day. Everything will be quiet until we hear a little noise of plastic hitting plastic and then we'll check on them to find the pigloo has been tipped upside down and Rosie will have sat herself in it. It's like she's attention seeking because someone will always go and put it upright soon after so it's almost like she's learnt an upside down pigloo means someone will come over.

She's a strange little piggie. Does anyone else know of a pig who does something similar?

Spike used to do this when he had plastic igloos, we stopped using them when they got a bigger cage with a loft as they sit under the loft now. He still rearranges the furniture (hay box, cardboard tube, nugget bowl) in his cage though when I clean it out. Silly slave never puts things where he wants them!

Comet used to rearrange everything the minute he'd be put back in the cage, as @piggieminder says, we humans never put things back in the right place. He once decided to move a carrot cottage that his cage buddy was sleeping in at the time. And carrot cottages would frequently get upturned (although, I suspect that was really Blitzen's fault).

We have a walking carrot house... and a circular woven grass tunnel in the playpen that Piggle rolls across the floor whenever Puggle or Clover are sleeping in it! Also a haycube that mysteriously turns upside down whenever Clover takes a nap in there... Piggle loves tipping the other piggies upside down, sometimes she stays up all night plotting what to do next :)

Yea my old pig pip in my avatar used to roll his plastic ball into his nugget bowl to tell me its empty. The ball had a bell inside.

I am often amazed at how pigs will move things around. I put a very good but shallow supposed non tip plastic bowl in the hutch filled with oats as a treated for Jack and his ladies (avatar) and I found it on the other side of the hutch and a neat pile of oats in a corner just where he likes to snooze, he clearly didn't appreciate my taking his snooze zone with one of his fav foods - the cheek!

Guinea pigs are so overlooked and they are so clever. Has anyone ever owned rats? I would say they are a bit more clever that guinea pigs. But it might just be that they are alot less clumbsy
