A few weeks ago, Storm passed away and yesterday I got a new pig. On Saturday, I went to a rescue and trial bonded Bod with a new pig. The bonding was successful and we agreed that I would pick her up yesterday and I did. Just to be sure, I let them rebond on neutral territory and it was fine.
Several times Ive heard loud wheeking and other noises coming from the hutch and when I went to check, Bod was chasing Fire (the new pig) around and sort of nipping at her rear end. When Ive been there and that hasnt happened Ive seen that she spends almost all her time in the haybox (which is a square box full of hay with an entrance on all four sides) and she doesnt move much unless Bod wheeks at her.
I'm not sure if theyre still sorting out dominance and if shes still settling in with Bod but I dont know if they generally dont like each other.

If it gets worst then seperate them so they don't both get injured. They are most likely trying to assert dominance and found out who is the boss. Hope this helps

It sounds like they are just sorting out how things will work in their new home. Even well established pairs go through phases where they have a 'discussion' about who is going to be in charge, and this is pretty common in a new environment.
Both of them will still be a bit nervous and unsure, but once they settle things should calm down a lot.

My pigs Lucy and Harry have been living together for 18 months, and Harry can be a right pain in the butt. Lucy is pretty laid back and lets him get away with a lot, but every now and then she gets on his case and spends ages wandering around turfing him out of houses and 'shouting' at him to remind him she is in charge.

Thanks.
I just wasnt sure and they have been fine with each other in the times Fire has been active
