So as many of you know I have to boars. Ages 8 months and 5 months.

ANYWAYS,

Twice a week I clean out there cage and put a layer of bedding, two pigloos, two water bottles, two food bowls, a tunnel and a hay rack in there NEATLY :(|)and it looks so great and then ten minutes after putting my boys back in everything is moved to the opposite side of the cage not where I put it rolleyes and it looks like madness but I guess they like it.

Today I bathed the boys let them run about on the floor while I put their cage together. I used bread ties on the hay rack so it doesn't move and put the water bottles in random spots on the cage sides. I basically threw in a tunnel, a rainbow bridge, two pigloo's, and two food bowls and they haven't moved anything :))! Everything is exactly where I put it and they love the way the cage isn't in order.

I think I will go about arranging their cage like this from now on. The messier the better! Anyone else's piggies like to rearrange?

lmao....
i have lots of decorators aswell...
boys are especially bad for it...
Gem one of my girls litterally throws her hay tray accross the hutch shes in and makes cleaning her vetbed 500 times harder...
Sam is another one whos bad for it... his bowl is always turned upside down....rolleyes
silly creatures...!
x

lol.... brilliant :))
In my group of 5 piggies they burrow under the fleece and move things around. My group of 2 dont move their fleece but generally turn cuddle cups upside down and make them into caves :))
x

I routinely sit here and see pigloos wandering around Big Dave and Boxys cage all by themselves rolleyes

Boars like to be in charge of arrangements .I had a cup of tea on the table whilst I was trimming Ralph ,and he walked over and in a flash tippped over the teacup ,then he walked off looking very smug!

My Gerbils do this, LOL i tidy them, 5 mins after putting them back its like a bomb site LOL, Harold on the other hand is pretty tidy (for a boy) :(|)

My boys are exactly the same! The only thing is they seem to enjoy rearranging my things more than theirs!

Whilst I clean their cage they always get free range time and I try to keep all the cleaning bits above ground/enclosed but somehow they always end up elsewhere... The most recent event being the poor 'dustpan and brush' brush (which for some reason they are obsessed with!) being taken hostage from the top of their food tub and dragged halfway across the room to their corner of choice whilst my back was turned!

Mine like the walk under their bridge, flick their head up and make it stand on end.........
My honey (R.I.P) Used to somehow turn the pigloo upside down and liked to wee in it.......
Lilly is a real for burying his head in the dry food dish (i think he is hunting for gold) and spilling it all out all over the lovely clean platform that the bowl sits on...........
And of course they have to make sure there is plenty of hay pulled out from the hay rack and spread all over the floor of the cage!

Mine are addicts when it comes to the dustpan and brush! If humphrey gets just a few seconds alone with the brush you can guarentee you'll catch him humping it inbreeding

hahah, oh my word! (and what an appropriate name he has!)

If that's the next step in the obsession ladder for my two I think I might have to lock up the brush for its own safety.

I call my cage "tornado alley", for obvious reasons... mallethead

Oh yes, mine have to move things around as well, I put things in their cage that they can nudge and throw around :)) Someone always comes along after I've cleaned it out and they've rearranged it and goes "Why have you put their things like that?" rolleyes

The other week I put in their pop up tent and their ball jingled and there was some squeaking and there they were pushing the tent forward together. They're daft!

Alfie does something particularly mean, they both have cardboard tunnels which I put hay in and he goes to one and repeatedly runs through it so there's just a nice little hole for him to lie in, then goes to the other one and pushes it all out so Henry can't have the same!

mine is there food bowl every time i fill it up they tip it over dosen't matter which bowl i use

All these stories have me in tears!

The funny thing is the majority of the stories are about boars yes? I think it's funny when Sweets wears his igloo like a turtle shell? He get's real peeved when it's stuck on something and wont move. Sweets is the decorator and Fez is the mess maker. He thinks that in order to get any pellets he has to stand IN THE BOWL and it has to flow over the sides of the bowl and make a big giant mess or else he won't get any rolleyes I'm glad my dogs aren't like that or I would go insane!

I have 2 girls and they are just as bad....When I first put in a corner tray with hay Doodle-Pig flung it 4 times in the 1st hour! It's now cable tied to the cage! Their beds always end up at the other end of the cage too :)

I too have been giggling away like crazy :(|):(|):(|)
ahhhhhhhhhhh Sweets and Fez you're so precious boys XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Obviously your way of doing the cage Mercedes was just not good enough for them ;):(|)

Onyx is my house mover, i find their big fiddlestick house moved every morning and this is on their mezzanine floor so not much room to move it! and their box they have at night to snuggle under (i cut down a wine box in half so if they wanted to be warmer they could be) that ends up turned around and would be upside down if she could figure out how too! rolleyes

Moonpig and Yoshi are always shoving things around but it's got to be Yoshi with newspaper/paperbags that makes me laugh the most - he gets under/in them and then there's this rumbling piece of paper vibrating around the cage. :(|) :(|)

My boys are terrible for this.

My eldest boars, Gilbert was a right little tinker. He'd go on the top level of the cage where the food bowl was and move it along with his nose. He'd then pin it against the side and throw his head up so it'd go flying. Or he'd push it to the edge of the ledge and shove it off. A few times he's hit Ludwig with the bowl. Poor guy. xD;

My youngest two are the messiest little guys though.
Arthur, after I got him a plastic box which I folled with hay. He turned it over... on top of himself and I came downstairs, panicked because I couldn't find him, only to lift it up and see him sitting under it. He glanced up at me innocently and I lightly placed it back on top of him. He went back to sleeping.... covered in hay.. xD;
They also tend to throw their cardboard box around, turn their pop out tents onto the side and try climb in, unaware why its harder. They throw their hay everywhere and toss the bowls around so bits go flying. I've bought 2 heavy bowls now so they food can't go anywhere and they've decided its now their seat to sit in and eat. Including peeing and pooping in their food. Boys. rolleyes

And of course, with all of them, I see walking pigloos. xD
