I've got a pig who always wants to sleep on top of his piglopedia. I'm always worried he looks a bit uncomfortable hunched on top of it. Does anyone else have a piggy like this and a solution to make them more comfortable? I was thinking about putting something soft like fleece on top but I thought I would ask you guys for ideas first.

My girls like to sit on the top of their log cabin.
I should imagine he wouldn't go and sit on it if he were uncomfortable....

I'm sure it's not uncomfortable but we can always be more comfortable;-)

I suppose your right:soz:
I just feel bad when he's sitting on the hard plastic. Things like that keep me awake at night;)

Haha, when I hear the girls jumping onto something I rush into the room thinking they are trying to jump out!

One of my pigs sits on top of one of the houses quite often and surveys the area, she seems quite happy up there so I imagine your pig's also quite comfortable up there too!

'Surveys the area' haha that made me laugh! X

I have a log cabin too and Cookie loves to sleep on it. I'm always worried that she is really uncomfortable. As it is a flat roof I put some fleece on it and top it up with hay. She loves to sleep on the hay and nibble at it too.

One of mine likes high places! Yesterday I found one under the log house and one sat on top :) He just likes to see things from high up!

20140430_024148.webp Piggy rooftop meeting. They slept on there so much that even with fleece pads I eventually had to throw the cabins away because they would pee on them and they got a bit mouldy looking (even after a vinegar scrub and an hour in the oven on low heat). They did try to sit on the plastic ones but quickly decided they weren't as comfortable.
