I'm completely stuck.

I got my two 5 month old guinea pigs, Almond and Filbert, from the local rescue a month and a half ago. They were born there, so I'm guessing they didnt have a big variety of vegies and foods. I'm pretty sure, because the only thing they really eat is: pellets, hay, grass, and lettuce. I have offered them a whole bunch of fruit and vegies, but they will not eat anything! Not even my fatty, Filbert (the one that loves to eat). i dont know what to do to get them used to new foods. i have tried mixing different vegies with their lettuce, but they will eat all the romaine lettuce and leave the other vegies. malletheadmallethead:0

first of all have you checked the teeth?
some rescues [*]may[/*] not give fresh veg and if they have not been used to it then they will not know what it is,
feed plenty of hay along with the pellet that they eat, if they feel well covered then i would not worry too much, if they want to eat they will.

My piggies have different tastes, but all like cucumber and herbs of any sort. Dill being one of their faves. Perhaps withold the lettuce for a while and they may then try some other veggies..
