I think what people are trying to say is that guinea pigs should not be put in mugs...

they didn't seem at all distressed by being put in mugs as they are small and the mugs are big! but if it makes people feel any better i shall never put them into mugs again! and your probbably right :-\

Guinea pigs are not toys. Wether they seemed distressed or not, is not the point.

I'm glad i didnt see that pic,it wouldve upset me big time
theres a lotta calenders etc out like that...
in fact we have one in our kitchen now with a pig in a cup,then again if ours tried to sit in a cup theyre so fat the cup wouldnt hold them

They looked mighty squashed in to me. There was NO space between the pig and the inside of the mug.
