image.webp image.webp Name: Solomon
Breed: Lunkarya
Age: 2 years 2 months
About: Solomon is the most skittish of my 3 boars. He's a beautiful lilac and white with a few strands of ginger in there. Most of my friends think he's not as cute because he has red eyes but I think they're gorgeous. He lives with his brother (Also a Lunkarya - same litter) Ralph. Ralph rules the roost and does push Solomon around a little bit but they do love eachother a lot! He's also great at posing - here's 2 photos from a photo shoot he had done. Sorry, I couldn't pick just one.

As no winners have been announced for this contest I'm guessing all our animals are way to cute

Can't believe how cute your photos are & how good Solomon is if any of my piggies had that food in the trolly they would not be standing pushing it they would be init having a munch up :-)

The more photos the better! I think he's adorable ;)

Those pictures were taken on an Olympus OM-D EM10 Mk 2 with a macro lens. I've recently taught myself a little about animal photography so very pleased you like the photos! :)
They are stunning! And thank you, I am looking into a new camera for animal photography.

Everyone is making judging so HARD!

Name: Sweetie
Age: 3 months
Rex coat

Suddenly discovered she loves cuddles if tucked under my chin. Petit and mischievous, she is dramatic and cute...and she knows it! Always up to mischief in the cage, Sweetie secretly has three ASBOS and only the firm paw of leader Smudge keeps her in line. Poppy simply runs and hides because it is easier that way.

Sweetie wants to sit on it, under it but rarely in it and does not understand snuggle pouches in the slightest. She sleeps on top of the cuddle cube, quite often with Poppy snoozing inside.

Uggggh I'm jealous of everyone's Rex pigs. I want one... ;) saw one at the farm store the other day when I was getting dog food. They had purebred otter piggies, (they had mismarked feet so the store took them in) a beautiful black satin aby boy, an all red crested, pretty harlequin patterned boys and more. Gosh it was piggy heaven! I may have to go back and take pictures...

Love everyone's entries!

I love Rex piggies. They are my favourite. I now own four Rex piggies and two short haired piggies.

I hope newbies are allowed! I think this chap should probably intro himself, though...

Name: Sundae
Age: 6 months...ish? We're not sure, he was a rescue.
Aby/Ridgeback cross

Alright pig fans! Sundae's the name and demolition is my game! If you've got a cardboard box you want flattened, I am your pig! No job to big, no FEE to big, I work for broccoli! My record on a box is four days and we ain't talking none of your single ply cereal here, oh no, it was John Lewis corrugated! My secret is water, fill my mouth, soak the cardboard, wait till it's soft, bite it off. I can do it for hours! When I'm not earning my keep, I like to take part in competetive poo flinging and singing the song of my people at 'car alarm' volume until the human turns up to ask why something's being murdered in our room. Oh yeah, and I live with my big brother, let's just say I'm the brains in this operation. This picture only exists because the human snuck up on my blind side to take it, literally. Blind in this eye, war wound, you know. I've got a thing about cameras...*rumbles in vaguely threatening manner*

Sanctuary-pig Quentin would like to say 'hi!'
He's a pure Abyssinian, about 4.5 months, and he is very, very excitable! He loves exploring and popcorns like crazy, but if you rub his 'unicorn horn' (aka the tuft of hair on his forehead) he falls asleep XD

I think that they can have some color. But I'm no expert. Sorry it took so long to reply I just got back from vacation
I've taken my pigs to shows a few times as pets (I know the forum hates showing but the breeder I bought them from invited me) and they taught me the show standards, and I saw piggies in the show cages, and the selfs are defined as short haired pigs of all one colour. Honestly, they'll disqualify for the tiniest splash of colour :)

I should have mentioned, self is a show term for the colouring :)

This is Archie we adopted him when he was 6 months old he had had to have an eye removed after a fight, Archie is the most lovable little boy iv had he has the cheekiest personality and he loves standing up on his back legs to get in the hay rack or to explore anything. He has a cheeky hair line down this rump which gives the look of very pert cheeks. when he popcorn he makes us laugh as he does the most adorable head spasm and you can see just how excited he is.
Archie lives with 2 lady's Peaches and Flossie both over 6 years old but despite the age difference they get on like a house on fire and he shows the girls who's boss.
First Place goes to Tinkoz! And her beautiful piggy! Congrats!

Loved everyone's piggies! And keep those cameras out everybody, because the next contest is for other pets. :D
