Hi everyone
Just thought I would share some pictures of my first foster pigs. I volunteer at the RSPCA Manchester & Salford Branch and decided to take these guys on after they had a rotten first 3 years of life.
They are 2 boars, Choc & Chip found abandoned in a local wood in a plastic container with 2 rabbits rolleyes Choc's teeth had been hacked at by someone who clearly thought they knew better than a vet. Thankfully, with careful feeding and good quality hay his teeth are now perfect, very lucky pig indeed!
Since being with me they have put on a good 100g+ and their muscle tone has returned. They literally never stop eating! Now they are up for adoption and it will be sad to see them go, but saying that I'll be doing the home visit so I know they will only get the best!
Enjoy!
