Pigtures of the OH's new piggies!

Well, here they are! I've just had them out for a couple of hours on a blankie and they were popcorning and wheeking at each other! We got first popcorns and first proper wheeks all in one go! I apologise that the piccies aren't that good, they were taken on my OH's iPad.

They were listed in the shop as being 'rough-haired' which translates to Abbysinian... Though I have a sneaky suspicion they are at least part, if not full Peruvian. My perus are both fully grown, so I have no idea what they're like as 4/5 week old babies... The OH hopes not as he is not a fan of long haired piggies but he loves them so much already that I think that if they are perus it's nothing a good haircut won't solve!

They are beautiful little ladies. I shall try and get some better piccies tomorrow on the camera!

Both my peruvians looked like this when they were babies, so you are probably right about them being at least part peruvian

my baby peru looked like your 2 gorgoeus little ones but your right a good hair cut will make them look like a messy haired piggle and my peru was so much calmer and gentler than my aby proper little lap pig.

I agree that especially Olivia looks rather like a baby abyruvian (aby/peru cross) or a peru, not baby like aby.

They are adorable. They definitely have another breed in them. My baby is an Aby and he doesn't look quite like them. He's in my display picture.

Better pigtures as promised!

Not perfect, but I find my OH's camera harder to use than mine! Olivia (Brown and white) definitely looks more like a peru. Miss Elvis just looks floofy, so I don't know. As far as I know Peru's only have two rosettes (on their bums)? Olivia has two on her bum but also one on her side, and Miss Elvis has a few half hearted attempts at rosettes across her body. Oh I don't know - time will tell!
