Pillows & Stuffies

I have seen that some piggies like pillows or small stuffed animals. Where do you get these? Are there certain ones made for pigs or certain things to make sure they are safe? I tried looking online but did not find anything specific?

They are just using human/child items.
You need to make sure there are no buttons or any items which could be chewed off.

To be honest though, they are only of interest to a minority of piggies - some boars who are particularly humpy for example, as it can give their cagemate a break or single boars

My Rosie is a fan, I think she even has a favourite - the green dinosaur. She tends to hoard them and sleep on them.

Luckily my pigs don’t nibble on them, otherwise I’d be very careful with anything that has plastic tidbits, like stated above.




They’re just gifted children’s toys :’)

Rusty was the only piggy I've had that liked anything soft like that. I made him some cushions out of fleece scraps after he started scrunching his pee pads up to put his head on.

Sir George has a small harem of IKEA baby safe plushies. Some more "loved" than others. I have just gotten back into needlecraft and am planning on adapting some fleece scraps into pillows myself as he does the same as Rusty.

You can buy them on Etsy. My piggies like to rest their heads on something and use them. They can go in the wash with everything else

I found that red pillow the other day at the bottom of a piggy fleece box, it brought quite a lump to my throat. None of the present residents of Pigglington Court were interested.
