The last time I checked their genitals they didn't have that pimple. Today I checked and it appeared on Bode. Boar bum lukewarm plus coconut oil helps or is it a reason to take him to the vet?
He has no other symptoms such as pain when peeing, normal poop, he does not touch that area, he is eating and drinking normally. He is being treated for mites with ivermectin.

Bijou, his neighbor, doesn't has it!

Thank you in advance!

It can't do any harm to see the vet. Perhaps some meds will get rid of it. It can't be a very nice place to have a pimple 😕

Yes... I am thinking about taking him to the vet, just a bit short on cash now 🙁. But I will schedule to him today. I was thinking maybe it was from the mess he makes, he's a pretty messy boar even cleaning the enclosure 1-2x daily.

Good luck, I hope it is an easy matter to fix ❤️

I contacted the vet and he prescribed Dexamethasone + Ciprofloxacin spray every 8 hours plus lukewarm bum bath 12/12 hours. If it doesn't reduce in 7 days, he said he would do a biopsy and send it for analysis, he said he thinks it's coccoid bacteria.

Hi! Wondering how your boy healed up from this and if you discovered exactly what it was? Mine has something similar looking inside the wall of his pocket

Hello! I never found out what it was but he got better with dexamethasone + ciprofloxacin spray, also hygiene in the place. I truly suspect it was a coccoid bacteria like the vet told, my dog had something similar and had the diagnosis for this through biopsy.

I’m so glad to hear it healed up! I really appreciate your getting back to me, as well! 🙏
