Jill B
Junior Guinea Pig
Hi,
Some of you may have already seen pigtures of Pink and Pumpkin but, as there will no doubt be more to come in the future, here's a thread dedicated to them! We've had the girls just over a month (from a rescue) and they have gradually got used to us and we to them, given that we're first-time piggie owners. I (as 'bringer of hay' and 'poo sweeper') definitely get the greatest response when I come near. My daughter (as 'pellet deliverer') gets a pretty good response. However, my husband (as 'chief picker upper') was mostly met by quick scurrying to hide until a week or two ago. This has improved somewhat since we've started doing laptime on the sofa and we've discovered that they actually like chilling out and being stroked.
Pink's the mostly white one with the fabulous hairdo. She's an expert veggie stealer and hoarder. Pumpkin's the mostly grey one with the crazy 'eyebrows'. She looks bemused when a piece of pepper disappears from under her nose.
