Pink ring on the lower eye?

We noticed Pumpkin had this ring of pink on the lower part of the eye. The front of the eye looms a little gooey and there seem to be some scratches on the eye rims. Pictures attached. We haven’t noticed any lethargy or loss of appetite but we did just notice this today. Does anyone know what it could be and if we should take him to the vet?

Just to be clear the first and third photos are of the bad eye and the second is the other eye for a comparison.

I would take her to the vet. Eye treatment is the same for all animals so she can be seen by any. Hopefully something simple. She is gorgeous

I would echo the advice to get a vet check.
It’s always better to be reassured there’s nothing wrong than miss something than could be easily treated when caught early.
