perky died approx one month ago leaving pinky alone he is approx 4 years old and seems lonely has anyone another older male pig that we could rescue in the Preston area to live with him?

The best way to make sure that single boars get along is by "boar dating" them at a rescue. That maximises the success (Pinky can make his own choice of who he gets on with) by minimising the risks of potential fall outs if boars are not character compatible. It is worth going the extra distance for bonding under expert supervision and the surety that you have a place you can always turn back to in case of problems.

The closest reputable rescue that I know of that offers this service and that I can most warmly recommend is Milhaven in Keighley.

I can reccomend them, I have bene twice with success.
