feel really upset :( just went to check pippins tooth and her top left one has snapped in half. will it be ok? do i need to do anything? feel so worried and like its my fault :(

Broken teeth are not rare. please check whether the broken tooth and its neighbour are still rooted firmly. If it is sitting loose or growing back crookedly, I would recommend seeing a vet, otherwise the tooth should grow back within days. http://www.guinealynx.info/teeth_broken.html

Check whether he can still eat normally and weigh him daily to make sure that he is eating enough in the meantime. If necessary, chop veg finely. There is usually not a major problem with just one tooth snapped off.

One of our girls broke her top teeth right off. I cut up her veg in to very small pieces and hand fed her for a few days, did the same with her hay and pellets (just wet the pellets a tiny bit and they broke up easier). They grew back enough for her to eat withing a few days, it's really quite common and it rectifies itself, just make sure she is still eating.

One of our girls has done this 3 times and it always grows back very quickly.
The 1st time she did it she seemed a bit grumpy so we took her to the vets and she was given some painkiller. We always assumed she did it on the water bottle because she used to tug really hard at it.
Hopefully she's learnt her lesson.
