She has got it bad... she is literally just chasing poor Gladys round and round the cage.. they have been out for floor time and both had cuddles but as soon as i put them back together Pippin has gone mental again!

I have sprinkled some of their treats about the cage for a distraction but it's not helping! Also put 2 hay trays in....

Any tips?

lol.. I am just getting my dinner with my headphones in but my son is keeping an eye on them for me... Never known her this bad before...
 
Weather and hormones at my house too, but thankfully not Piggle hormones today because that's just too much to cope with!
 
Just checked on them... both asleep.... thank goodness! So is the other half on the sofa with a film playing to itself.. pretty standard in this house!
 
We have witnessed some pretty strong seasons in the past, in fact the first one we witnessed made us replace all houses with playsticks and we have never gone back.

You just have to let them ride it out, the bigger the cage the better as always.... Widget terrorised Chickpea for 48 hours once :( Bloody Seasons
 
Reading through this thread, I am reminded of why I prefer boars...

Thanks and so do I! I'm very surprised everypig gets on with everypig else. I don't think anyone has told the boys they are supposed to fight over the girls. It helps that they are so laid back that they are almost horizontal!Christian relaxed while waiting for op.webpIMG_20180910_183037.webp

Oh no they are horizontal! Surprisingly they like to relax like this!

Made sure they had floor time this morning and night.. usually only go out at night...
