Pixie has lice

Little Pixie seems to have lice mainly on her cheeks. I thought it was crumbs from her dry food but then I noticed they moved. I have ordered some lice and easy shampoo but is there anything I can do in the meantime. It appears to only be Pixie that has them. Can the lice transfer to humans?

I always make a point of getting the best quality hay. Will be changing my source of hay now I think. Grrr evil lice. It makes me feel like a bad owner now.

Buy Johnson's insecticide shampoo - available from pet shops.

You will need to bath all your pigs, change and disinfect there cage to.

My vet gave me xeno, its good stuff!
I hate lice, my first guinea pigs had loads of them

Guinea lice don't like us hoomans so you will be safe
