The plan to have a shed has been a bit hazy for a long time now but we are finally doing it YAY! i get pain on the 26th august and I'm going to get that shed! then my daddys building hutches for all of them woop! all to my design double woop! and omg its going to be a piggie palace lol i have lights going in and alarms (for at night) bins for the woodshavings and hay and food shelves and storage its so cool in my head lol but seeing as how my dads doing most of it i shouldnt imagine too much lmao! i cant wait will post piccies as it comes together.

question: until we get the hutches built will they be ok out in the shed in their cages?

Sounds great! My dad's still not got his yet! :( But we are hoping it's soon.
In this weather, they'll be ok in the shed in their cages

have you thought about using the grid type runs instead of hutches or cages in your shed, both my sheds have this type of housing I did post some pics a while ago of them but they are brilliant, hope all goes to plan

The problem with the C&C is that we get alot of mice and it would be so easy for them to get into the cage and they stress ed and zubin out, also if our buns escaped (they are real escape artists!) then they might accidently injure one of mine and i couldnt risk that plus ed and zub love having the bedroom bit to hide in, just makes my life easier. they will b in their cages until my dad finished the hutches we are making them out of an old wardrobe lol x
