Hi all, I'm new to this forum.

My children's guinea pigs have pulled a Sainsbury's carrier bag through their cage last night and have eaten a sizeable chunk. There are 4 pigs, so I'm not sure who has eaten the most plastic. Should I be worried and take them to the vet?

Do not fret! My Mo did the exact same thing only it was a tesco carrier bag lol. I would only fret if a piggy suddenly stops eating or pooing because that could suggest thete is a blockage. Yet I suspect they'll all be fine. :)

They'll probably be fine. My Toast has chewed through plastic bags, my shoe laces, my scarf, socks, rubber.... basically she'll eat anything in her path

Just keep an eye on them for the next 24 hours and see a vet promptly, but there should be no problems.
