can anybody help please.

i have a large indoor rabbit hutch for my Walter. yesterday i added the shelf, minus the ladder, just really as another under cover area for him to go to. with getting a friend for walter i wanted to add the ladder that attaches to the shelf and then put a cuddle cup bed on the shelf for them.

the ladder is one piece of plastic that attaches to the under side of the shelf. it has wavy lines of plastic running across it (i presume for grip).

do any of you have experience with these ladders? they dont look as if they will have much grip and i dont want them falling off, i know it is not far but looks far enough to hurt a leg/foot

thanks :)

Is this a ladder (with rungs and gaps) or a ramp (solid) ? I have a wooden ramp in my cage and I added sides to it to stop anyone falling off...

no its solid - i didnt want any cage with rungs he had to walk over as i didnt want to cause damage to his feet.
sides, i am such a tool, why didnt i think of that - i was mainly thinking plastic is more slippery than wood...!?!? think i will get the O/H to whip me up a little wooden ramp with sides on then at the weekend and attach it somehow to the shelf. he is better at DIY than me !

thanks

Mine has little hooks at the top to connect it to the next level. Some people also use tunnels on their ramps for grip .... or carpet .... or make little ridges across it..

Good luck with it

PS Smartie wanted to show you her ramp :))
