I'm not sure whether this is the best place for this thread, but here goes! Well, my little Pickle (or rather hefty Pickle more like!) is a bit of a muncher; she eats everything! Unfortunately this includes all the plastic toys the girls have in their cage. Should I be worried about the plastic being digested?

PS: Contrary to what she might tell you, she does in fact get fed twice a day; it's not out of starvation!

what goes in one end comes out the other, [piggies can't vomit], she sounds happy enough but take a look at her teeth if they are abit on the long side they might need alittle trim at the vets, if she dribbles this could also indicate back molar problems and chewing is her way of easing discomfort. i would remove the plastic for awhile and give the girls large cardboard tubes or boxes to nibble instead ,corn on the cob is great for gnawing and friut sticks etc ,hope this helps you.

They do actually have cardboard stuff, and plenty of it! Pumpkin eats all that stuff, whilst Pickle attacks the plastic! I think she has some kind of plastic fetish :))
