Okay so I really want 2 Guinea pigs but I already have a hamster. My mum said wait until the hamster passes away and she'll think about it. So we recently bought a £50 cage for our hamster and if I did buy 2 Guinea pigs she would not let me buy a cage as it would cost too much. I was wondering if I could turn a play pen into a cage add puppy pads underneath and a fleece on top but I'm not sure if it would be big enough for all the essentials the playpen is the Trixie Joy Indoor Run, 34 × 23 cm, 8 Elements
to the forum! I am sorry but 34 X 32 cm is much much too small a cage for even just one piggie. Do as your Mum says; wait until your hamster has passed, and then maybe you could exchange his new cage for some C and C grids to make a big cage for your piggies - if you get them. But remember, for two pigs, the cage must be at least 2 X 4 grids, or even bigger if you get two boys.
