Puggle gave us all a scare today, please can we have some hugs for Puggle?
After over a year with no bloating Puggle possibly had more than her fair share of scatterfed spinach and beetroot salad mix this morning and started making "the tummy ache noise" :(
Oh my goodness I panicked so much, we were just off to pick up some things for my Mum then visit her in hospital, Puggle only made the noise briefly but I was so worried thinking my gorgeous girl did mummy almost kill you with a generous breakfast...
Luckily when we got back from visiting Mum (all the while discreetly checking the time to make sure I could check on Puggle before the vets closed) this was Puggle:

Puggle is such a clever girl, she's been munching hay and going round the cage eating all the other piggies' fresh poops and harassing Theo's bum until he made her some super fresh ones!
Please don't bloat again my gorgeous little ginger biscuit girl, there's no ranitidine available anymore to help your tummy...

Sending Puggle lots of hugs and one for you to. What a scare you must have been so worried not being able to be there to keep an eye on her. I am so pleased Puggle was such a sensible girl and knew how to sort her tummy out. It was very kind of Theo to produce lots of 'medicine' for her.

Healing vibes for the gorgeous Puggle :)
Please don't give your mummy pig & daddy pig any more stress, they don't need it, even if you are their little piggy (literally) Princess Puggle ;)

Healing vibes from the girls & I.
Xx

BIG HUGS to Puggle...... Out of interest - what is the tummy ache noise? xx

Thanks everyone, it wasnt more than a tiny tummy ache noise really but... you know when you know your piggies? And you've seen them very ill before and you recognise that first "slightly off" sign and you know what could happen next?
Anyway just went to check on her again and Puggle was harassing Blod's bum this time which is a sure bet for fresh poops, Blod is often too chubby and lazy to bother eating all her own poops which is why she ends up wearing a furry caecotroph dreadlock skirt that I need to trim every month!

The tummy ache noise is a sort of grunty whimper accompanied by some back arching and hunching and straining and back feet shuffling and a certain look in her eyes like she's gone somewhere far away and not nice and is thinking "oh no this again" :(
But I think this time she's ok, though of course I wont sleep tonight and will be waking the whole herd up every 2 or 3 hours to check on her just in case!

Thanks for the info. I hope none of my piggies ever have the tummy ache noise x

Fingers crossed all is ok! X

Hope that beautiful Puggle is ok now and her self- medication of fresh donated poops has sorted the problem.

How’s your mum today?

Cisapride works well as an alternative. In fact l think it's better than Zantac as it doesn't go off after 28 days.
Glad that Puggle is ok now xx

Miss Puggle go gently on your hooman. Glad you have a poo thief gene in you though
Happy to hear she’s ok. Hopefully what she did preempted it. 💓

Oh no, so sorry @PigglePuggle! It’s my curse as we were talking about her yesterday :( So glad she’s ok the little ginger beauty, hope no more tummy troubles now! x
Thanks @alpacasqueak I think she's ok, she came out for breakfast and I hand fed all the veggies to make sure she only had 1 coriander stem, and she was tucking into the breakfast timothy hay!

Its tricky with a herd of 6 because Puggle isnt happy being taken away from her friends to eat, so we'll just hand feed all of them for today so we can strictly limit her veg intake!

Glad Puggle is feeling ok.
Now Miss Puggle be a good girl and stop giving your poor mummy a heart attack.
Big hugs to you all.xx

I would say handfeeding them all must take ages but they’re piggies! :)) Hope she stays bloat free x
