Hes been at the vets since Tuesday.I had to use my emergency vet who I have very little faith in now as he became very ill Tues evening when my piggy savvy vet was closed.Hes now too poorly to move to my piggy savvy vet.Hes really struggling. Its a big bladder stone which the vet tried to remove yesterday but couldn't.He isn't eating by himself and hasn't pooed or weed since 3 this afternoon.Hes lost a lot of blood in his wee and during the op.
Please could I ask for some vibes for him.Ive just spoken to the nurse looking after him who says hes no longer moving.
I'm so worried
So sorry to hear the situation your little one is in. However if you feel he is really struggling and the emergency vets aren't knowledgable on Guinea pigs then you could make a decision on wether the risk of the move to his usual vet would be worth it.
Aww thankyou so much everyone.Sadly we had to help him to the bridge earlier,I don't think he would have coped very well with the journey to my piggy savvy vets.He was so flat this morning he couldn't support the weight of his little body.
Parsley was one of those very tame, very laid back little piggies.I will miss him very much. His little friend Tom will too,I know. They had only been bonded since September but had formed a very close friendship being two easy going, middle aged boys.
Sleep peacefully my lovely handsome boy.xxxxxx
I am so sorry Parsley had to be helped over the bridge. You did all you could for him and he will have known how much you loved him. Sending you and Tom hugs.
RIP Parsley.
