AWW oh my god they are beautiful!

No need to apologise ! We wouldnt be mad, you have tried to rehome and there are none available - I have a petshop bought piggy and eventually these are oging to need homing too.

Do they have names yet?....Branston and Piccalilly! hehe

Aww I wouldn't have been able to resist them either - they are gorgeous.x)x)x)x) Is Pickles neutered? ?/
Definitely no need to apologise at all.:)

Don't be sorry...I would have melted too!

Pickles looks huge next to them! ;)

Oh they are divine! I want them all! Hehe! :) Baby Girl *** is precious! So Pickle is neutered isn't he? He's going to be so thrilled with these two I'm sure!

I've pet shop pigs too! Three of my boars came from pet shops and whilst I'll always say rescue if possible its not always possible for people to rescue because of location and wants available in rescues. :)

yep pickles if definately neutered and was before he went into the rescue so no worries bout baby piggies :D

They all look lovely together - I feel sorry for pet shop pets, at least these have gone to a good home.

Well done, I hope they're all happy for a long time together.

Don't worry about it lol They are lovely I'm getting my new one from a litter because there are no shelters with guinea pigs in them anywhere near me but these little guys need homes too don't forget, and many people who buy from petshops may b inexperienced so you could be saving them from a worse fate!

we've got a baby rosette pig called Rosie. she's beautiful. it's a good name!

really cute little ones. I'm very jealous

Lovely little piggies .... I bet you are really thrilled with them! :<>

All piggies need a kind and loving home. You saw these and fell in love, I would have too.

Pickles looks very happy! :):)

Yes that's my thinking too, I got most of mine from a local garden centre that sells them for just £10 each and you see so many kids picking them and I worry that they are just going to be discarded once the kids have had enough of them and probably left to rot in a hutch outside.:... I really wish there was a law that would stop garden centres selling animals and make them stick to plants - I'm sure it would stop as many piggies going into rescue.

I've never been to a garden centre but I know what you mean it's cruel maybe you could jump down sometime and check the conditions and get the RSPCA involved?

I am glad many of you feel that way.

I often fall in love with bunnies and piggies in pet shops but I stop myself from doing anything. But, after watching some of the staff there, I am speechless! I was in Pets at Home a while back where a lady was buying a rabbit for her 2 daughters. I listened to the whole thing and the staff member didn't ask her anything such as how big is your hutch? will the bunny have any compnay and he didn't advise on injections/neutering etc. He then put the bunny in a tiny box that was so small, she couln't even turn round inside it!

The worst bit was when he said this...

"I think it's a girl"!

My point with that little rant is that it's much better that you took the little piggies than some child who will get bored after a month or 2 and then the poor little things ending up in a rescue.

Good on you!

They wouldn't be interested I don't think cos its a large garden centre and he has them all in largish cages although I think he sometimes overcrowds the rabbits.:... The thing I do hate is that he has all the animals in one long room like a corridor - not very wide and that's all kinds of birds and parrots which make a lot of dust and all different breeds of rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters. I feel really sorry for all the poor furries having to put up with the constant noise of the birds all day.:(

What absolutely gorgeous girlies! x) x) And they make up a GREAT trio! :)

They are so pretty and cute awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww don't apologise at alllllll awwwwww so cute cuties in the forum

don't aplogise, I've done it, when I bought Milly from a garden centre with her sister (rip) because they were so poorly looked after, or when I bought Marigold as company for one of my sows who was being bullied.

They are both beaaaaautiful by the way, their colours are lovely. Your pickles looks very fatherley with them, hope he's looking after them well!

btw, I love the name Rosie, one of my first guineas (with rosettes!) was called rosie. What about another flowery type name for the other girl?

wow pickles v nice lil pigs especially baby no 2 and *** feel bad ma lil gal toffee came from pet shop cos i could find a lil gal that needed rehoming xx

They are all beautiful, all three of them!

Congratulations on your new arrivals x

My first ever sow (who I was told was a boar :red) was named Rosie. She was a Aby x cross.

My first two Nutmeg and Doughball came from a pet shop. It was only when my daughter took them to her new house with her and I wanted my own piggies that I found out about rescue. So from the initial pet shop girls, I now have four rescues, so the pet shop played their part. Don't beat yourself up, they are absolutely gorgeous, few could have resisted. x

Thank you all for your lovely messages
Thats what i was thinking rosettes - Rosie and i think she quite suits it. Do like the idea of having another flower name for girly no. 2 any ideas?!
Yes Pickles seems very fatherly towards them, the girlies follow him in a line behind him all around the cage its soo cute
Thanks
