I have two females who have been together since adolescence. They are about a year old now and have been switching dominance back and fourth the entire year. Now that they are done growing and they are the same size again, the dominance behavior has become worse and has twice in the last month turned into full on fighting. I separate them and then they both get lonely and squeak/wheek for the other so I let them out together and they usually make up and forget about it, but Napoleon (female) now has taken to flat-out chasing Marie and cornering her everytime I put them back together. Today I noticed Marie (a female long hair) was missing a large tuft of hair directly above her eye and Napoleon won't stop cornering her. They are separated again, but I really need to keep them together. Does anyone know what I can do to keep Napoleon from attacking/barbering poor Marie? PLEASE HELP!
