he isnt moving, just sometimes moves his head he is making a deep purr sound, the cleaner just cleaned near their cage so maybe he is scared? my other guinea pig is doing fine, i just refilled food and she is eating but my he isnt..

We need more information really. How long has he been like this? When you say re filled his food? What food are you using?

I think we need a bit more information than this. Has your guinea pig been fine untill now? Eating and drinking, pooping as normal? It might be that they were spooked as you suggest, but if they don't start eating soon there might be a health problem and you need to see a vet. Hope all turns out to be OK!

He has been fine all day,he started that after the cleaner started cleaning( he has been doing this for 1.5 hour). my other guinea pig is totally fine.

Did your cleaner use any sprays or anything near the cage? If you pick him up, is he physically able to move about or is he lethargic and only moving his head?

Welcome to the forum

Is the vet you saw good with exotics, particularly guinea pigs?
It is vital that guinea pigs eat to keep their digestive systems moving.
If he isn’t eating you need to try syringe feeding - pellets mushed up in warm water is fine.

Try not to panic, do as the vet told you, keep an eye on him, syringe feed if necessary and if you are still worried and he’s not responding see the vet again.

It would help to know your location as other members may know a cavy savvy vet near you

Hi!

Please take the time to read this information; syringe feeding fibre, water and any medication1 is curcialfor keeping your boy alive if he is not able to stand and is not eating on his own. Is he still making poos?
Not Eating, Weight Loss And The Importance Of Syringe Feeding Fibre

Can you please tell us what medication your vet has given you? How experienced with guinea pigs are they?
