Hi
My female piggy, Lily has a small dangly thingy and a bald patch surrounding it. It really is very small. It's on the side of her tummy and I don't know what to do! Is it serious? She's acting normal. 8...8...8...8...8...

Is this small dangly thing low down on her tum & is there one on the other side to match?

If so these are her nipples & are where they should be on both female & male pigs :)

Welcome to the forum. :)

It does sound like the nipples, these are like small flaps of skin with bald patches around them. As Niki said, both males and females have them.

Yes, there are two. And my other piggy has them too. Thank you everyone!

i think it is because they are formed before the fetus "knows" whether it is a boy or a girl so is just hedging its bets - but this equally could be an old wives tale
