She needs a vet, which you have done. Unfortunately unless you have an alternative vet, or something like Vets Now in your area (it is best to put at least your country in your profile as this forum has members from all over the world, and services vary area to area, country to country), keep her warm and comfortable, until you can get her to a vet.

Ahh, bless. Sorry about that. You did all you could. Piggies being pray animals tend not to display ill health until they are really bad.

HUGS! I am very sorry; piggies can go downhill very quickly - and yours sounded already pretty far gone when you found her.

Please don't blame yourself. All you can do in a situation like that is to keep your piggy warm and as comfy as possible and to see the out-of-hours vet asap in the hope that they can help. if you have got out-of-hours cover in your area, the number should be on your vet's answering machine message.
