Hi,
I dont really know what to do so please bear with me if i babble on.

I live with my bf and his mother, and i have got 24 pigs, which she hates and has ever since i got them and she is ALWAYS moaning and winging about them and this Sunday took a turn for the worst. Now i have to give them up, which is really breaking my heart. How can i let my 24 babies go! I have sorted 3 to go with my niece and my bro might have 2 and i am going to keep one cage perhaps at my dads until i can get a place of my own., but that still leave loads! I was wondering if anyone here would like to adopt some? I know everyone here adores guinea pigs so i know they are going to a good home?! I have got teddies, rexes, short hairs and abbys.

Oh babe I'm so sorry..... why cant folk leave us alone, ive been fighting over my pigs too.
I live in ireland so cant help but wanted to send you a HUGE hug xxxxx

I know, my parents are fine its his!

Forgot to say that i live in slough which is near london and i dont mind driving them a few hours to get them a good home.

Sorry also forgot to say i have a rabbit i can supply a two storey cage with him, he is black and lovely and will really be missed :'( :'(

i could foster them until you get sorted if you like but you would have to get them to essex and supply cages

I dont think it would be fair to foster them as i dont know what situation i am goign to be in and how long they will be with you,

I'm really sorry :'(, I wish I could help you, hopefully some of the others may be able too?
Good luck and keep your chin up
love sammy x

:'( :'( know i can't help but want you to know that i'm with you anyways... how sad and frustrating for you love :'( :'( :'(
Hopefully things will be better but it just doesn't sound like they'll ever be animal lovers :'( my OH's parents can't stand our little man :'( >:( a very very sore point so know where you're coming from...
Wishing you all the best and hey lots of shoulders here to cry on... pm me if you like O0 :smitten:

Thats awful is there no compremise with them, are they outside or in couldnt they posibley hold on till you get a place of your own, what does your bf say about it knowing its so upseting for you? :smitten: :smitten: xxxxxxxxx

He is very upset too but it has to be done. You do not understand this women isnt very nice :tickedoff:

maybe you could chuck her out instead ;D

but seriously i hope you get it all sorted, I'm in bristol where are you ?

Its her house so suppose cant really chuck her out, well its council so may taxes pay for it, lol.

I'm in slough, only couple hours from Bristol?

Hayley why don't you sort out what you've got ie sows/boars/colours/varieties and list them on the Rescues board or if you don't want it public (the rescue board can be seen by everyone) then on here. I would offer as I'm not far from you but I don't have room at the moment. Can I put people in touch with you? I generally don't rehome out of area so its good to know someone that has piggies looking for a home (in the nicest possible way).

Is the rabbit neutered or vaccinated?
So sorry by the way - how awful for you :(
Have you tried conatacting any rescues to see if they can help you rehome them?

I dont drive unfortuately :( i hope you find someone who can help you, id go on the rescue on this forum.

keep my fingers crossed for you.

maybe you could hide some like under the bed ? in a wardrobe ? :)

I'm very sorry hun, she really does sound awful! cant u find a place of your own?
id rather live in a tent with my piggies than with the wicked witch!

i hope you find good homes for all of them soon, and dont worry, your piggies know you love them and are doing the very best for them!

(((bighug)))

Hello,
I have decided i am keeping a hutch with some in, I'm not letting her win totally. I am applying for a mortgage so hopefully that will be great. My brother and aunt might take a few. But its becuase i have a few boars that are very unsociable and that bumps the number of cages up and makes it look like a zoo!
She doesnt like mice and thats why she doesnt like the guinea pigs (i dont understand it). They were on the patio in the front of the garden and she saw a mouse so told us to move they back onto the grass and put a fence around them so they can run around....she suggested it. NOW becuase she has seen another mouse she wants them at the end of the garden where the dog S**ts! She has seen a mouse.....in a garden.....where else do mice live! argh!!

God, she sounds awful. It must be breaking your heart. I may be able to take on one if you'd like - I dunno if you're going to put them on the rescues board like Karen suggested. I live in Farnham in Surrey which is about 1 1/2 hours drive from Slough, maybe less but I don't drive myself I'm afraid. If you wanted to rehome a boar with me I'd have to neuter him so it depends how you feel about that, I wouldn't want to do it if you were against neutering because they are your babies!

I have a spare hutch here, I can only take boars tho, as I dont want mine to fight. I live in Kent.

I'm so sorry you are in this situation

Hello,
I am trying to sort out some pictures and i will put them on the rescue section. I have a teddy boar, a cross between rex and some long haired breed boar and a gorgoeus beige abby boar that possibly need rehoming as they have to live on their own as they are grumpy sods. So these will be the first on as i would really like them to do to a nice home. I have a few girls but these i will put on later as they are all staying together in one hutch. I will keep you updated and post them on the rescue site.
Thanks to everyone for their support and help.

Id love to help but i too have no extra space - good luck though.
