Ok, I took Gilly to the vets on Saturday.. they had a good look at him and found these little scabs dotted about on his body. On the back of one ear and on his back.

The vet has given me ivomectin, and said it's mange... but now I'm not so sure.

See, he also has what looks like dandruff, I'm worried it's fungal.. and not mange?

Just incase, is there any shampoos etc I can get online instead of taking him to the vets again?

dandruff could be lice I think you need to do both the shampoo's and the ivomectin really but not 100% sure. I know you shouldn't wash them for at least 48hrs after applying the ivomectin or you'll just wash it off

I used the ivomectin on Saturday, I have 3 courses to put on him. The second isnt due until the 30th.

bump... I need to know where to get some shampoo from for fungus etc?

With mange mites, you get broken hair stalks and dandruff and with fungal you get flakes of skin with hair stuck in it.

Continue with the ivermectin treatment in any case and make sure that you don't give any baths within two days of using topical ivomectin.
