my piggy is extremely shy and her pigloo is were she spends most of her time. i clean her out twice a week but I'm getting worried cuz her pigloo ( were she sleeps) is always full of poop and wee i don't want her getting smelly or dirty so what should i do?:{

Piggies always like a certain spot. I used to cut fleece/furry blankets into quarters and fold for them so they can be changed whenever they get wet etc.
Vet bed is really good and swapped to this last year. You can buy a piece, cut into squares and have one to use and extras.

Have you offered her alternative hidies, like cardboard boxes, fleece cosies, a kiddy step with a towel over or whatever? *Do you have absorbent bedding inside the pigloo to help keep it dry? *If she really loves it, why not just clean the pigloo daily in addition to your regular cage clean?

Have you tried taking the pigloo out of the house for a small amount of time each day? You could even build the time up and keep doing it but make it into a routine.
Obviously you don't just want to take it out and leave her without a hidey hole all the time but it might make her adventure a bit more. Leave plenty of food out, i'm sure that will keep her occupied! x

why not get a pigloo minus a bottom? that way they can stay in the hidey but you can move it around the cage to minimise the poop build up.
Has she got a friend or is she a lone piggy?

Could you remove the pigloo and just cover half the cage with a blanket...?
That way it's not such a small space for her to hide in and toilet in...
x

when mine were tiny I used to take the igloo out and give them a tiny bit of cucumber after 5 minutes put the igloo back. just need to build up confidence

sounds like she needs a girlfriend to help her feel more confident in the world x

she does have outher piggy friend sjust when i was given her ( a few days ago) she had fles and wnet to the vet to have a jab but cant mingle with my two outher pigs for anouther few weeks!
