Hello,
So i'm just very curious if any you would know
but on the 20th august at 8:15 am my guineapig had passed away peacefully
He all a sudden had a very runny nose and had a very heavy breathing when the day before he was completely fine!
we couldn't take him in the vets in time as they hadn't opened till around 9:30am for the one near me.
Do any of you know what this could of been like old age?
I know theres nothing I can do now but i'm just very curious towards how he died all a sudden.

Also I want to also had he had a constant drool, looking like he was gonna vomit
Obviously some of you would say 'why didn't you take to an emergency vet' well seemingly 1. Freaking out, and trying to figure 2. There we're no vets open at that time and by the time we rushed, he had would of been dead. :(

Not really quite sure what answer you would like. No idea how old your piggy was or what his general health was like beforehand.
What I can say is that piggies can suddenly go downhill as I myself experienced just recently. I noticed slight signs of illness in the morning and by the afternoon the piggy had deteriorated to the extent that the only option was to put to sleep. Something dreadful must have overcome her, and perhaps something similar happened to your piggy.
Try not to dwell on it. I’m sorry for your loss.

Thank you,
And I'm just curious like towards what happened because he all a sudden had heavy breathing, runny nose drooling and all happened to die, do you know what it could be?
He was roughly around 4 years old I believe
And He didn't really have an health issue I believe so.

It would be pure speculation on our part I’m afraid. Try not to dwell on it. Remember the good times
