My Bercy escaped his pen this morning somehow and had a snack on a stack of puppy pads. I work a 15 hour double today leaving in an hour and I’m fully in a panic. He ate quite a bit. Should I be concerned? Will he be ok?

Hi

Please take a deep breath. Piggies are prone to eating all the things you really do not want them to but thankfully they only rarely come to harm. :tu:

Keep an eye out for the next 24-30 hours and see a vet as an emergency if your piggy is suddenly looking out of sorts and has lost their appetite.

Odds are however that it won't happen as it's actually not a huge lot Bercy has eaten. We have seen worse with piggies surviving the experience just fine.
