Sadly I am now left with only one piggy:( my old friend fluffy had to go to sleep forever a few weeks ago and as I posted last year I lost Browny too. It's been a hard year as you can imagine.
I feel sorry for Tina who is now left on her own, she's always been so used to being with others and is now in a massive cage on her own. If you look through my pics she is my black longhaired piggy and I got her a long time after Fluff and Browny so she's younger and has plenty of life left in her.
I don't want to get another pig but was wondering if anyone thought it would be a good idea to foster to give Tina some company now and again? I live in Sheffield x

This is a great idea, Have a look at the forums rescue locator, it would be worth giving your nearest one a call, you never know... x

Lisa & Ali..

I have moved your thread for you.

I am very sorry for your loss. You are welcome to post a tribute to Fluffy in our Rainbow Bridge section any time it feels right for you

You might consider approaching Barnsley Animal Rescue Charity (BARC); they operate on a system of fosterers and are your closest good guinea pig rescue that does so.

Cavy Corner in Doncaster is a sanctuary. They don't foster out, but you could have a chat with them re. a bonded companion that reverts to them after the death of your boy.

Both rescues have also got a facebook page:
