As a UK based forum it would be difficult for us to recommend a vet for you, I’m afraid. There might be someone who sees this post and happens to know but I’m not sure of any members specifically.
Are you able to speak to the vets in your area and ask if they treat guinea pigs?

Unfortunately, we haven't got many currently active members from your country on this forum, which is based in the UK.
The best way for you is to google and then ring up all vets within your area as to whether they see guinea pigs and whether they have any experience/veterinary training for them. A good way is to also ask how many guinea pigs they see on average in a week or month and how many operation on guinea pigs they perform, plus how their outcome rate is. Unfortunately, South Africa is not one of the countries that has a list of recommended guinea pig vets anywhere to my knowledge. ,
There are a few South African vets on Scotty's animals website. I don't know if any are near you. These vets have been recommended by his followers and cannot be backed up by any forum experience but it may be a place for you to start your hunt.
