Yesterday we adopted Megan from Walsall RSPCA. She was part of a rescue and was in a very bad way when Vicky rescued her. She is more than likely totally blind and had to have one eye removed due to a awful infection.
Thank goodness she found her way into Vicky's and Walsall RSCPA's hands - They have done wonders for her...

She has settled in really well and has some funny special ways that we have been discovering today, which make us laugh - she likes to turn round 5-7 times on the spot and sit in her hay tray.

She is very gentle, likes a cuddle and despite all her problems is a very happy little girl. We have taken a few photo's ( due to her blindness, she does not have the normal instinct of piggies to run away from photo oppurtunities :)) )

Thanks to Vicky very much for letting us care for this beautiful girl and everything she and Walsall RSPCA have done for her x

You kept that one quiet! :))
She's gorgeous, thank goodness she's been given a second chance, and I know she'll be spoilt with you guys! Is she going to live alone or near cookie & treacle? I mean is she planning on meeting them?
She looks like she would be very cuddly! x)

Thank you! We weren't going to get anymore girls until we'd moved, but reading her thread something felt right with Megan and she needed a home. So I suppose she choose us! It was a very spur of the moment decision but right for Megan and us!

She's a very special need's piggie, not your typical pig at all. Tiny and very slow to eat so couldn't really live with anyone else as she would be bullied and not get her food. She is so gentle and despite everything she's been through is so trusting of us, even after a day. Vicky has worked wonders with her.
She's right by the girl's but has shown no interest in them! Cookie has been interested by the extra food coming into the room and has wrote a letter of complaint as to where this extra food is going.... :))
They will meet at run times when we can supervise how they interact with her.

Aw bless sounds like she's going to have a lovely forever home! How old is she btw? I bet cookies dead miffed! :))

She is lovely, and I am sure she has fell on her paws with you to care for her. Thankyou xx

He he! Have no idea on her age, she is tiny but that seems to be a genetic thing. Her claws however aren't thick like older piggies - so I don't think she's over 3. But with how she is it's really impossible to tell. Definatley an adult piggie.

awwwwwwwwwwwwww

hello Sweetie

I am so happy she has settled ok, and the changes haven't upset her.

Thank you for giving her a fantastic home. :))

No, thank you! Have passed your message onto Megan.

You didn't tell us she has a poo corner! Such a clean girl, making our first attempt at fleece very easy at moment!

Congrats! She is a beauty and a real character!

Am so pleased this special girl has settled into her new home. Great photos-what a difference from the last time I saw her when I was moving her out of the hellhole she'd been in. Kisses to Megan x
