Really sorry to hear that she couldn't fight it any more, whatever it was. It's very sad, for both of you.

It sounds like you did your best, taking her to the Vets and looking for help here. Perhaps you'd like to stick around on this Forum? There are lots of friendly and helpful people here and not everyone actually has piggies themselves. Maybe even one day, in future, you might decide that you'd like to keep piggies again.

Very sorry that things turned out this way x

Really sorry to hear that but you did all you could sometimes things just happen. As Missy said stick around on the forum don;t give up on piggies you may find that a rescue piggie catches your heart :) big hugs x

I've only just seen your thread after having spoken to you earlier (I'm sorry I couldn't be more help or much clearer, it's cases like these where I feel most strongly that I would need to see the pig to ascertain the specific problems and from what you were saying, I didn't feel there was anything I could advise you to do other than see a vet).

I am so sorry she didn't make it, you have obviously had an awful time lately. I too couldn't speculate on what made both your guineas ill, from what you've said in this thread there may have been issues with the diet that left them susceptible but please don't beat yourself up about what you could have done.

Remember this forum for when you do feel you're in a position to get piggies again, I'm sure we'll still be around. :)

xx
