I just found out there was posing ivy in my garden! I been feeding my gunieapigs veggies from this garden. I was just wondering if this stuff is harmful to them? I also have bumps all over me from it to so I also want to know if it's safe to handle them?

I’m not sure about handling them but I’d defiantly ring in at your local vets and tell them and get an appointment to make sure they’re ok. Better to be safe than sorry. If you’re unsure about handling maybe use a towel to pick them up to take them to the vets

I will give the vets a call tomorrow to see what they say. I really hope they are ok.

Have the piggies had access to or eaten any of the plant? Or are you concerned that it might taint the veggies you are growing nearby?

As for your bumps they are a reaction to the plant, as long as you have washed your hands/forearms and have different clothing on it should impact the piggies

I am just worried it got on the veggies. See I find know I had it until a couple days ago. Now I'm finally being treated. But I do wash my hands and I got this special scrub stuff. So I'm hoping they will be ok.

It depends how close it is to the veggies you are growing. I would give them a good wash before you feed any just to be sure
