I have come to conclusion that my 2 oldest piggies are currently in season because boy are they grumpy! How long does the grumpiness last?

Hi! A season lasts about a day.
If it goes on and on, and a sow behaves like she is in season nonstop, you need to have her checked for ovarian cysts.

Ok thank you, I'll keep an eye on them. It's only been today that they've had an attitude towards everyone and everything lol
 
Piggle has about 3 days every 3 weeks when she's an absolute nightmare, one day of weird aggressive bum sniffing, one day of excessive humping and teeth chattering and attacking everyone, then one day of sulking and acting like she has a hangover- ratty fur, dull eyes, first time it happened I thought she was really ill! She just has very strong seasons compared to all the other piggies, I only notice the others being in season because our little husboar Theo pays them extra attention. Then everything goes back to normal overnight and she's lovely again (until next time!).

Thank you all so much... It's the first time I noticed because Cosmo is usually so laid back but yesterday she was being moody with one of the younger pigs. Head butting and chasing her and hogging the hay rack the she took herself away off for into bed lol I'll see what she's like today...
