Hi Patchy, welcome to the forum. Sorry your little one is poorly. Stick around there are a lot of experienced people who may be able to offer some advice. Hope your guinea pig is ok and we can see some photos soon. x

Hi Patchy, welcome to the forum.

How was your guinea pig diagnosed with polycystic kidneys? Is he otherwise well, aside from the arthritis and potential kidney problem - eating, pottering around etc.? How old is he?

Arthritis can be helped with a herbal tablet called Potters Tabritis, the dosage is half a tablet once a day. It's available from Boots and online. Some find it helps, others don't, but it's worth a try.
