Hi. Just giving dexter a check over and he has what appears to be a poo stuck in his bum. It's very white and gunky too. I managed to get half of it out and he is still pooing normally but there is still a bit up there. Any advice? Is it normal? It seems to be stuck to the sides so I don't want to yank at anything I shouldn't be yanking!

Could be the start of impaction especially if hes an older boar, the article above is one i read a couple of years back when i had my last boars and it was really useful. Its simple enough to keep them clean and soon becomes part of your routine. Just keep an eye on him :)

Thanks for the replies. My only concern is he is only 18 months old so not sure if its defiantly impaction but I am going to attempt to clean the rest of it out. Bless him, poor thing must feel violated!
